PRODUCT DETAILS
These valves are usually used in industrial systems operating under high temperature and pressure. The products are manufactured from specially designed durable materials and usually contain metal alloys or ceramic materials. Their operation is based on typical ball valve principles, i.e. allowing flow in the open state and blocking flow in the closed state. A special feature of high temperature ball valves is their ability to perform stably in high temperature environments. Such valves are commonly used in power generation, petrochemical, steelmaking and other industrial applications. They are especially preferred in such systems when fluids need to be safely controlled at high temperature. The special materials and sealing systems contained in the valve provide resistance to high temperature conditions, thus enabling safe and efficient operation.
The high temperature ball valve stands out with its superior adaptability to fluid direction and temperature changes during operation. The special geometry and materials used in the internal structure of the ball valve ensure that the flow continues with minimum pressure loss even at high temperatures. This design increases the performance of the valve and minimizes energy losses, especially in systems operating at high temperatures. The precise movement of the spherical mechanism allows fluid to pass through uninterrupted and smoothly, while remaining stable even with sudden temperature changes. The high-temperature ball valve offers a great advantage in applications where fast opening and closing is required, because the mechanical stresses that occur when the ball valve opens and closes are minimized thanks to its advanced design. In addition, the metal-to-metal sealing structure of these valves provides an effective seal even at extreme temperatures, ensuring long life and safe operation. These features make it possible for high temperature ball valves to play critical roles in industrial processes.
The internal components of high temperature ball valves must not melt at high temperatures. In this context, sealing is provided as metal-to-metal. In order for the two metal sealing elements to work under high temperature for a long time; we apply different types of coatings developed by Akvemtek to the internal parts according to fluid type, pressure and temperature values. Our most prominent coating types are Stellite, Chrome Carbide, Tungsten Carbide (Wolfram Carbide), Nickel Alloy Tungsten Carbide, Chrome-Oxide, Titanium Dioxide coatings.
High Temperature Ball Valves can be produced as floating, trunnion, full bore or half bore, two or three piece. Design standards are EN-12516, ISO 17292, ANSI B16.34, API6D, while face to face standards are EN558, ANSI B16.10 or special dimension requests. In connection flange; we can help with EN 1092-1 & EN 1092-2, ANSI B16.5, B16.47 standards. Connection standard for valve top flange is ISO 5211. Our products can be controlled with world standards API 598, ANSI FCI 70-2 as well as ISO 5208. In these tests, according to your request, our products can be delivered with C class sealing or zero sealing in accordance with class A. Fire safety is ensured by designs made according to API607, API6FA and ISO 10497 standards.
With Tubitak Projects, our company designs and manufactures ball valves that will operate at High Temperature in a way that both zero sealing and low rotation force will be applied with many mathematical models on the optimum rotation torque force, which is the most challenging part of metal seated ball valves.
