PRODUCT DETAILS

The fluid flowing through the valves and the environment in which the valve operates are critical for determining the right material and design. In addition to the high pressure and high temperature in the fluid, the acidic-basic values of the fluid and the particles in the fluid cause corrosion and damage to the inner wall of the valve and valve elements. Therefore; it is very important to evaluate the process correctly and determine the valve materials accordingly.

Akvemtek ball valves operating under harsh working conditions can be protected from all effects that may cause rapid wear of the material such as sludge, slag, iron dust, sand dust with high strength Tungsten carbide coating on the inner wall of the valve.

According to the acidic value in the fluid; stainless steel and its derivatives are selected as the right material to ensure that the valves work for many years. In addition to all these; high strength Inconel X718, Inconel X650, Inconnel X550; materials with very high torsion and tensile strength can be used in the valve.

In these products that contain the combination of high temperature, high pressure and abrasive fluid; up to 1000bar pressure; we can produce completely solid or forged materials.

High Pressure Ball Valves; floating, guided (trunnion), full bore or half bore; can be produced in two or three piece form. Design standards are EN-12516, ISO 17292, ANSI B16.34, API6D, while face to face standards are EN558, ANSI B16.10 or special dimension requests. In connection flange; we can help with EN 1092-1 & EN 1092-2, ANSI B16.5, B16.47 standards. Connection standard for valve top flange is ISO 5211. The test standard can be EN 12266, API598 or ISO 5208. Fire safety is ensured by designs made according to API607, API6FA and ISO 10497 standards. In these products; different materials and thicknesses can be used much more than the standard under special conditions. In order to accurately determine these situations; design verifications are made with CAE simulations made by finite element method.

While different types of sealing are not preferred in these products except metal-to-metal sealing; in some special cases, the outer surface of the valves can be coated with extra protection. Akvemtek Ball Valves Operating Under Harsh Operating Conditions can be produced as flange, threaded, welded connection as well as wafer type, i.e. compact structure.
