Specially Designed Butterfly Valves; Different materials and thicknesses much higher than the standard can be used. In order to determine these situations correctly; Design verifications are made with CAE simulations made with the finite element method. Leak tightness tests of valves are; It can be made according to EN 12266 or ISO 5208.
