Swivel Joint Connection Types

  • Flexible/rotating piping systems must transfer powders and granules, gases and liquids;
  • Gases and liquids must be injected into rotating plant components;
  • Hose connections must be stabilized against stress caused by bending or torsional forces or replaced with swivel joint scissors;
  • Due to extreme plant characteristics and/or increased safety requirements, a swivel connector is applied.
  • Swivel Joints are available in 8 different styles (10, 11, 12, 20, 21, 22, 30 and 31) which can be combined with 3 types of connection ends (threaded, flanged and weld ends). The appropriate combination of these styles can realize almost any 3D movement.

Akvemtek Igatec Swivel Joint Type CF-TW is a swivel joint with intermediate flange for airfield refueling of tankers.

It is normally made of aluminum and radially sealed. Akvemtek for years; As the representative of the German company Igatec GmbH in Turkey and the United Kingdom, it offers Swivel Joint products to end users.

Besides carbon steel and stainless steel; Swivel Joint products made of special materials such as Aluminum, Bronze, Duplex Steel and Titanium are designed, produced and delivered according to the working conditions.

Akvemtek Igatec Swivel Joint Type CF-TW offers high load capacity, long life, durability and smooth rotation performance thanks to its double bearing structure. Our product can be used in tankers refuelling at airports and can also be used in tankers transporting on highways. In Type CF-TW Swivel joints, perfect concentric run-out ensures precise alignment in fluid transfer; easy handling offers ease of installation and maintenance; lightweight reduces transport and energy costs. Our swivel joint is designed to withstand high pressures and temperatures. Type CF-TW swivel joint product; floating roof, that is, floating pipe systems are preferred in systems created to receive fuel and fluid from the top.
