Swivel Joint Connection Types

  • Flexible/rotating piping systems must transfer powders and granules, gases and liquids;
  • Gases and liquids must be injected into rotating plant components;
  • Hose connections must be stabilized against stress caused by bending or torsional forces or replaced with swivel joint scissors;
  • Due to extreme plant characteristics and/or increased safety requirements, a swivel connector is applied.
  • Swivel Joints are available in 8 different styles (10, 11, 12, 20, 21, 22, 30 and 31) which can be combined with 3 types of connection ends (threaded, flanged and weld ends). The appropriate combination of these styles can realize almost any 3D movement.

TYPE HT

Akvemtek Igatec Rotary Joint Type HT is our high temperature rotary joint for special applications. It has a special sealing system that can withstand extreme temperatures. It can be readjusted once installed.

It is currently used for molten salts, thermal oils and superheated steam. Materials are used according to the need profile or customer specification. Akvemtek has been; As the representative of the German company Igatec GmbH in Turkey and the United Kingdom, it offers Swivel Joint products to end users.


Akvemtek Igatec Swivel Joint Type HT offers high load capacity, long life, durability and smooth rotation performance thanks to its double bearing structure. Our Type HT product stands out with its resistance to high temperatures up to 600°C. 1.4571, 42CrMo4, Duplex, Superduplex materials used in our swivel joint product are offered to our customers as options. Our product can be used in solar thermal, oil and gas applications. Thanks to the Adjustable Gaskets, i.e. "adjustable sealing element" feature, our Akvemtek Igatec Swivel Joint product allows the sealing level to be adjusted to adapt to different operating conditions. Akvemtek Igatec HT Type Swivel Joint, which is suitable for high temperatures; It is especially preferred in thermal power plants and iron and steel plants.  High temperature resistant Swivel Joint products preferred by many companies in Turkey; can be delivered by Akvemtek in the fastest way in accordance with special requirements.
