Swivel Joint products are flexible/swivelling pipe components or pipe fittings made of steel, stainless steel or other materials that are needed in a wide variety of industrial applications in the following situations:

In the past time, we are proud to have successfully delivered swivel joint, rotary joint and filling arm products to many different facilities such as paper industry, steel production facilities, power plants in Turkey.




Swivel Joint Connection Types

  • Flexible/rotating piping systems must transfer powders and granules, gases and liquids;
  • Gases and liquids must be injected into rotating plant components;
  • Hose connections must be stabilized against stress caused by bending or torsional forces or replaced with swivel joint scissors;
  • Due to extreme plant characteristics and/or increased safety requirements, a swivel connector is applied.
  • Swivel Joints are available in 8 different styles (10, 11, 12, 20, 21, 22, 30 and 31) which can be combined with 3 types of connection ends (threaded, flanged and weld ends). The appropriate combination of these styles can realize almost any 3D movement.

Akvemtek Igatec swivel joint is a critical connection element that offers flexibility and durability together in industrial applications. Thanks to its swivelling components, it prevents buckling and bending in pipe and hose systems and ensures safe transport of fluids under high pressure. Especially used in demanding sectors such as oil, gas, chemical, steel and mining, these swivel joints, also known as swivel fittings; It allows moving equipment to work in harmony with fixed connections, thus reducing the risk of breakage at connection points and extending system life.

Akvemtek Igatec swivel joint is manufactured in accordance with high safety standards thanks to its modular structure and use of durable materials. The bearing balls used in the products are of high quality and have high strength even in the most severe industrial conditions. In addition, Swivel Joint products are sealed with seals such as O-ring and V-ring, which provides resistance to extreme temperature, pressure and load changes. This structure of swivel joints offers significant advantages in terms of operational efficiency, especially in heavy industry applications. TYPE LT

Akvemtek Igatec Rotary Joint Type LT; They are swivel joint products specially designed and produced for the needs of our customers. These products are first designed according to the features suitable for your process, then produced and tested and then delivered.

Type LT is the "light" version of type T for low and medium pressures or for low external forces or moments. Therefore the bearing has only one bearing track.

It is the same as T type in structure.


The single bearing used in our Akvemtek Igatec Swivel Joint Type LT product optimises load distribution and reduces friction by facilitating rotational movement. NBR, Viton, PTFE and HPU options are optionally available as gasket material in our swivel joints. Sphere material is stainless steel in our swivel joint Type LT product. Fluids such as diesel, ethanol and lpg are used in our Swivel Joint product. In our Akvemtek Igatec Swivel Joint Type LA product, "perfect concentric run-out" reduces wear by keeping the joint on the axis while rotating and "easy handling" provides ease of use by providing easy installation and maintenance. Akvemtek Igatec Swivel Joint Type LT has TA-Luft certificate and external dust sealing gasket. Compared to Type L products, these products have a smaller size due to less ball arrangement and have high strength in terms of payload.
