Swivel Joint Connection Types

  • Flexible/rotating piping systems must transfer powders and granules, gases and liquids;
  • Gases and liquids must be injected into rotating plant components;
  • Hose connections must be stabilized against stress caused by bending or torsional forces or replaced with swivel joint scissors;
  • Due to extreme plant characteristics and/or increased safety requirements, a swivel connector is applied.
  • Swivel Joints are available in 8 different styles (10, 11, 12, 20, 21, 22, 30 and 31) which can be combined with 3 types of connection ends (threaded, flanged and weld ends). The appropriate combination of these styles can realize almost any 3D movement.

TYPE SO-W

Floating suction systems, offered to you in partnership with Akvemtek Igatec, torque-free rotary joint for floating roof drainage and scrapers, special rotary joint for scissors and loading arms.

They are preferably used for ship loaders and tank storage. Akvemtek has been; As the representative of the German company Igatec GmbH in Turkey and the United Kingdom, it offers Swivel Joint products to end users.

Besides carbon steel and stainless steel; Swivel Joint products made of special materials such as Aluminum, Bronze, Duplex Steel and Titanium are designed, produced and delivered according to the working conditions.


Akvemtek Igatec Swivel Joint Type SO-W provides efficient flow and system durability by allowing the suction pipe to move with the liquid level in the "Floating Suction System" in storage tanks. Type SO-W is used reliably and efficiently in applications such as floating suction systems, skimmers and floating roof draining systems. The operating temperature and pressure of our Swivel Joint Type SO-W product varies according to the materials demanded by our customers. In Igatec SO-W Type swivel joint fittings, especially ANSI or DIN standard flanged type connection is offered. In addition, it can also be produced in special flange size upon request.
