The Coefficient of Friction Tester (C.O.F) has a Tilt Plane. The instrument is useful for determining the coefficient of static friction. Applications include most packaging materials, including plastic films, paper, etc. It does this by measuring the angle at which one test surface begins to slide relative to another. And it tests how friction changes as the inclination increases. It rises at a constant and predetermined rate. The Coefficient of Friction Tester inclination plane conforms to many international test standards.
