Our Variable Speed Coefficient of Friction Tester is the latest model. The Coefficient of Friction Tester is fast, reliable and accurate in determining the coefficient of friction.
Our range of COF Testers determine the static and kinetic friction of plastic film, sheet, paper and other sheet material coatings. Our Variable Speed Coefficient of Friction Tester features a small bench-top design. This makes it easy to use in the laboratory for off-line testing or set up on the production floor if required. The horizontal COF utilizes the use of a fixed sled with a moving plane. The coefficient of friction is measured directly from the resistance to tangential movement and the applied weight pressing the two specimen pieces together.
